Back-friendly

• If a good sling or carrier is like carrying your baby in your arms, it should also support your baby's back like a ‘third hand‘, keeping its spine very slightly ‘hunched‘ and its legs tucked up and spread a little. 
  We have consciously refrained from padding the main panel of the manduca®, so that it ‘fits‘ your baby rather than the other way round – just like a wrap sling. 
  Hidden, deep tucks in the manduca®'s seat area make sure your baby is held in the correct ‚M‘ position, while the leg openings are generously padded for maximum comfort.

Absolute comfort

• Parents' maximum comfort is important to us too: we have equipped the manduca® with shoulder straps which can be adjusted in three different ways and a conically shaped waist belt which is a perfect fit for women's waists and hips – but will fit dads like a dream too.

Safety first

• When you are wearing your baby right up close to your body without any other securing device, the waist belt has a vital role in keeping baby there safely.
  
  That's why we searched high an low to find a waist belt buckle with a three-point fastening system, making it effectively impossible to release accidentally.
